RPS Leadership Team

Stacy Tarrh, DPT, CPI, owner

Stacy is a Rockford native with a quick smile and a genuine love for others. She has always been fascinated with how the body works and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Andrews University in 2006. As her understanding of the body increased, her passion for movement did as well. In 2015, she took her first pilates class and immediately knew that combining her knowledge as a physical therapist with the practice of pilates was what she wanted to do. She is now certified through Balanced Body and has been teaching classes and working with private clients for over eight years. Stacy opened Rockford Pilates Studio in January 2022 with the dream of having a place to do more of what she loves, while pouring into her hometown. The amazing community of people who fill the studio is what make it so special. There’s truly no place like home!

Her goal is to create a fun and welcoming space while offering safe and effective classes that will challenge your whole body. Many of her clients comment on how they feel taller and stronger after each session. With a consistent practice, you will begin to look at your body differently and move more intentionally throughout your day. The benefits will spill over into multiple areas of your life!

“I teach pilates because I want people to enjoy the gift of movement. In each class, I help them connect with their body in a way that builds confidence in who they are and what they can do. It is such a joy to use my training and education to help others become stronger while taking a more proactive role in their own quality of life.” - Stacy

Caylin Scott, CPI, studio manager

Caylin is a Colorado Native who grew up spending summers in Michigan. She attended Hope College and completed her Fine Arts degree at the University of Colorado.  For the past 17 years, she has had a successful practice in interior design working with builders, developers and private clients.  She and her husband made the move to Rockford in 2021 and have loved every minute of it.

Caylin enjoyed investing in her pilates practice at various studios in Denver. When she moved to Rockford, she was thrilled to find Stacy and Rockford Pilates Studio. Her personal passion quickly turned into a much bigger vision, and she began her instructor training with Balanced Body. Caylin has earned her Reformer Certification and is actively pursuing comprehensive certification. The studio has become a second home and you will likely find Caylin teaching classes, attending classes, or helping keep things running smoothly as the studio manager. Spend a few minutes with her and you will agree that Caylin’s smile and love for all things pilates are contagious!

“I teach pilates because I truly love it! I want everyone to be obsessed with it the way I am. I’m so grateful to be able to share the gift of movement with others.” - Caylin

Maddie Nong-Lambert, CPI, PCES

Maddie grew up in the Lansing area as a competitive gymnast and continued her gymnastics career at Western Michigan University. She has always had a passion for movement, health and wellness. After college, Maddie moved to Chicago to work for KIND snacks. After a few years in sales, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in what she loves. Maddie started training to become a comprehensive pilates instructor in 2019 and has been teaching pilates full-time ever since.

Maddie is trained in all pilates apparatuses and has her pre/post natal exercise corrective specialist certification. Maddie loves to help everybody and is especially passionate to assist anyone prepping for/going through pregnancy, healing post natal, and managing pain! She recently had her first baby in 2023 and practiced Pilates until the day before giving birth. Pilates was so crucial in helping her feel her best during pregnancy and healing postpartum. Maddie’s goal in the studio is to make everyone feel welcome, successful and love moving their bodies as much as she does!

“I teach pilates because I love to share my knowledge with other people and help people feel their best in their daily lives! I love the community pilates creates; my clients have become my friends!” -Maddie

Devon Pearson, CPI

Devon is trained through both Balanced Body and the Pilates Mind Institute and is PMA certified. She has been instructing for 14 years and has attended numerous Franklin Method workshops on the pelvis, spine, and shoulder. Prior to moving to Grand Rapids, Devon owned her own studio in Carmel, Indiana.

“I love to teach pilates because not only are you challenging your body but the mind as well; it’s like you’re on a date with yourself and no one else matters. Just you, your mind, and body — self care and love at its finest.” -Devon

Patti Coté, NCPT

Patti’s education was in accounting and finance, but she has always had a passion for movement.

When Patti started taking pilates classes with Master Instructor Ahmé Boveé, she knew that she had found her “next chapter.” She started teaching pilates classes in 2015 and received her comprehensive certification for all pilates apparatus through Balanced Body and is certified with the National Pilates Certification Program. She has also received addition training with Polestar Pilates for movement with chronic low back pain.

Patti enjoys both the energy of a group class and the relationship of working with private and semi-private clients to help them reach their individual goals, whether to aid in daily movement or to work toward a specific fitness regime.

“I teach pilates because it is a movement modality for life, whether you are 20 or 90! Our bodies were designed for movement and when we stay idle for too long, we feel the muscles become stiff and weaken. Everybody needs movement and pilates is for everybody and every body type.”
